Tiffany & Co. opened its doors in New York in 1837. While Charles Lewis Tiffany initially specialized in luxury items, he also developed a passion for rare gemstones. Tiffany® Setting, the world's most famous engagement ring, was unveiled with its diamond, a symbol of love. Audrey Hepburn was its best ambassador in the film Breakfast at Tiffany's.
