In 1932, after building a reputation in New York, Harry Winston founded the eponymous brand to manufacture his jewelry. The King of Diamonds would go on to acquire one of the finest collections of precious stones over the course of his career. His jewelry was worn by the greatest personalities, including the Duchess of Windsor, Elizabeth Taylor, and Audrey Hepburn, to the point that Winston was nicknamed the jeweler to the stars.
