The house Miller

Boucheron is one of the oldest contemporary jewelers in history, with a creation dating back to 1858. It was also the first to establish itself on the prestigious Place Vendôme in Paris. The innovative talent of its award-winning founder, Frédéric Boucheron, attracted a wealthy, even royal clientele. He was notably the first to offer an asymmetrical necklace without a clasp, and the first to set a necklace with a 159-carat sapphire.

The history of jewelry

In 1930, the Shah of Iran asked Louis Boucheron to come and appraise the Persian treasure in Tehran.
Officially named "guardian and curator" of the treasure, Louis Boucheron never revealed the amount of his estimate.
