The house Miller

Boucheron is one of the oldest contemporary jewelers in history, with a creation dating back to 1858. It was also the first to establish itself on the prestigious Place Vendôme in Paris. The innovative talent of its award-winning founder, Frédéric Boucheron, attracted a wealthy, even royal clientele. He was notably the first to offer an asymmetrical necklace without a clasp, and the first to set a necklace with a 159-carat sapphire.

The history of jewelry

Frédéric Boucheron first became known for his innovative designs and bold use of precious stones. He was a pioneer in the art of gem-setting, developing techniques that highlighted the brilliance and color of gems. Boucheron was also one of the first jewelers to create custom pieces for famous clients, including royalty and aristocrats.
