Poiray was one of the first houses on Place Vendôme not to limit itself to traditional precious stones (diamond, ruby, sapphire, emerald), but to integrate a wide range of fine stones, including aquamarine, into its creations to bring color and freshness to its collections. This boldness earned Poiray the nickname "jeweler of color."
