A pair of earrings from the Maison Repossi 'Ophydienne' collection. Each features two facing, two-headed snakes whose bodies are paved with brilliant-cut diamonds and whose heads are paved with baguette- and trapezoidal-cut diamonds.
This motif is inspired by mythology, particularly the amphisbaena, a fabulous serpent with a head at each end of its body. Ancient and classical mythology is one of the main sources of inspiration for Maison Repossi.
