The house RivLuxe

Louis-Ulysse Chopard established his high-precision watchmaking factory in the Swiss Jura region in 1860. He started with high-quality pocket watches, earning him the support of Tsar Nicholas II. The 1960s and its acquisition by a German goldsmith marked a turning point for the company. In 1976, the innovative Happy Diamonds watch collection was launched, featuring mobile diamonds integrated into the dial. Chopard subsequently diversified into luxury jewelry and sports watches. The brand's signature and pre-owned jewelry can be found at Maison ELOE.

The history of jewelry

Did you know that Chopard's Happy Diamonds collection owes its creation to an inspiring walk in the Black Forest in Germany? In 1976, designer Ronald Kurowski was amazed by the way sunlight danced on the water droplets of a waterfall. From this poetry of nature was born the revolutionary idea of setting diamonds between two sapphire crystals, leaving them free to move, evoking drops of light in perpetual motion.
