The house Miller

Boucheron is one of the oldest contemporary jewelers in history, with a creation dating back to 1858. It was also the first to establish itself on the prestigious Place Vendôme in Paris. The innovative talent of its award-winning founder, Frédéric Boucheron, attracted a wealthy, even royal clientele. He was notably the first to offer an asymmetrical necklace without a clasp, and the first to set a necklace with a 159-carat sapphire.

The history of jewelry

It was in 1893 that Boucheron moved to 26 Place Vendôme, the private mansion of Countess Castiglione.
It is said that the location was chosen because it is the sunniest part of the Place Vendôme, which makes the diamonds shine even more.
