A superb gold sealing wax case in its Galuchat case, Louis XVI period. Oval section case in two parts in three-color gold. It features a decoration of pastilles on a guilloché background. The panels are framed by a frieze of raised pearls. The sides are decorated with falling leaves in green gold, alternating with cords and gold pearls on a matte sandblasted background. The rounded top is surmounted by a rosette. The base features an engagement coat of arms in a shield.
