Crystal drop-shaped perfume bottle with a rich 18-carat yellow gold cage mount, hallmarked with an eagle's head. The latter is chiseled with garlands of flowers and arabesques forming six domed crystal reserves. The stopper with the same decoration ends with leafy motifs in pink and yellow gold, topped with a fine pearl. It opens with a hinge on its small internal cork stopper mounted in gold and hallmarked with an eagle's head. French work circa 1850 Height: 12 cm Perfect condition.

Also called scent bottles, these bottles, used by ladies from the 17th century onwards, contained ammonia salts.
