Lucien Vachey was a master goldsmith and sculptor. His workshop, located at 45 Avenue des Ternes in Paris, existed from the 1960s to the 2000s.
It was Lucien Vachey who patented the technique of "silverplatinum," a special alloy of blackened silver. The workshop produced for Hermès and Cartier, among other famous French brands.
Lucien Vachey died in February 2021 at the age of 96.
