Delphine & Natty's opinion

The Hermès Arceau watch for women is a piece that combines the sobriety of its round case and cream dial with subtle and poetic details, such as its "galloping" numerals and asymmetrical attachments reminiscent of the equestrian world.

The house Miller

An iconic French luxury brand, Hermès began its history in 1837 selling equestrian items. It then diversified into leather goods with the advent of the automobile, but it wasn't until the late 1920s that it began creating jewelry and watches. The Ancre bracelet was the first success in a long line of timeless pieces such as the Nausicaa ring, the Kelly watch inspired by the famous bag's lock, the Cap Cod, and the Heure H. The history of jewelry

The Arceau collection was created in 1978 by Henri d'Origny, who also designed the famous Cape Cod watch. The name "Arceau" refers to the asymmetrical upper case attachment, which recalls the shape of a stirrup (a horse's saddle tree), a subtle nod to Hermès' equestrian heritage.
