The house AP Gallery Paris

A monument to industry since 1755, it is the oldest watchmaking factory in the world. It has both technical and aesthetic requirements.
Passed down from father to son. In 1810, the grandson, Jacques Barthélémy Vacheron, began working on complicated models, notably chiming watches equipped with two chimes.
Partnering with François Constantin, the company renamed itself Vacheron Constantin in 1819 due to their shared interest in sophisticated complicated watches. "Do better if possible, which is always possible" was Constantin's motto.
In 1880, the Maltese Cross was chosen as the logo. One of the most complicated watches was then created. Then came the world's thinnest self-winding movement, the CALIBER 1003. It created the first watch to display the date and day of the week on an engraved dial. They obtained the Geneva Hallmark to protect the city's watchmaking expertise in 1901. The first ultra-thin automatic wristwatch was created in 1968.
